NYC artist Salese just dropped this new visual "Poppin Remix". This ones
already poppin all over the NYC clubs and strip clubs. Get hip!
Very rarely in the world of Hip Hop today do you encounter the best
of all worlds. An artist with hit making ability, an image that is
marketable yet honest and genuine, matched with sharp business savvy all
wrapped in one.
Recording artist SaleSe
represents just that. Businessman by day, Nightlife guru by night, but
ALWAYS an artist first... Born Robert Stephen Salese in the Bronx, NY,
where it all began, the Italian-American artist was able to experience
Hip Hop simply by walking out of his front door. From "prep school to
the projects" and the "Hamptons to Harlem", SaleSe truly did experience
both sides of the coin. And now more than ever, SaleSe feels the need to
give the music business what it's been lacking. Creativity, a fresh
perspective, a reason to party and a dose of that New York City
reality... With a larger than life personality, an expensive taste for
fashion (especially his trademark sunglasses) and the release of 4 mix
tapes titled "Family Dinner" "Still Hungry" "The Main Course" & his
latest offering "The Last Supper" with features from some big name
artists along with production from the hottest up and coming producers
in the game, SaleSe is the what the game needs...
Throughout
his career, Salese has worked with the likes of Tony Sunshine, Mysonne,
Lord Tariq, Sadat X, Remo The Rapstar, Hell Rell, Grafh, Talentino,
Mala Reignz, Jaysun, Cristion Dior, Erick Right, Bully, Black Rob, Fred
The Godson, DJ Webstar, MeetSims, Torch, A-Mafia, Ron Browz, Leader
(K.A.R), Jon Doe, CokeBoy Flip, Snyp Life, Chris Rivers, Lumidee,
Dynasty, Anayka, the Italian Hip Hop Movement's own G Fella, The Shark
& MANY more...
"I could sit here and tell you who I know,
what I've done in the street and the industry, and what could've,
should've and might've been. That's the past. Let's leave it there and
focus on right now." With being one of the founding fathers of the IHHM
(Italian Hip Hop Movement) and running the hottest nightclubs in The
Bronx, SaleSe has his hand in a little bit of everything.
"I feel there's 2 people that the world should hear, Rob Salese and SaleSe, and I plan to give them both through my music."

My Wurewurafo song is as big as Telemo but… Koo Ntakra
Ghana’s
fast rising rap artist, Koo Ntakra has voiced his frustrations over
treatment faced by young and rising artistes in the Ghanaian music
industry.
The Akuapeam rapper says his ‘Wurewurafo’ song is as
big as Gasmilla’s ‘Telemo’ but is not enjoying the massive airplay
because he might not be as big as Gasmilla or any of the big arts who
Djs and presenters will prefer to him, or receive favors from, and has
lamented that, this is killing the dream of many talented artist who
even have bigger songs than some of these established ones but because
our system is monopolized and the ‘who-you-know’ syndrome continues to
rule it will be difficult for them to live up to their dreams or fulfill
their potential.
Koo Ntakra went on to say, he is a bit
disappointed the Wurewurafo song is not enjoying the rotation Telemo is
given across the media landscape, and reiterated that until our djs and
radio stations start to believe that everything starts from the bottom,
many of the talented musicians coming up who would have been a major
export for the country in terms of arts and culture will all end up
becoming another burden to the country’s economy in some way.
The
former MTN Hitmaker has also revealed that, he has been a victim of
such dejections from some Djs and radio presenters because, some people
expect him to pay big from his prize kitty he won from the reality show
two years ago of which was basically an album recording deal, which was
invested in his maiden Akuaba album released last year.
Wurewurafo
is one of the smashing songs on the young rappers album, but isn’t the
only one, songs like ‘Medaase’ which features Keche, Odorkor-Kaneshie,
Bad Figure8 among others are all huge songs if given attention will
match any of the big tunes we hear around.

is said to release his first single from his new project in the coming
week, the song titled ‘Zibortey’ features the Ghana Lady hit man, Danso
