Jamaican Reggae/Dance hall superstar, veteran roots singer and producer, JUNIOR REID releases his 17th studio recording album “THE LIVING LEGEND”. He is known worldwide for his music but rose to fame with his smash hit “ONE BLOOD,” that set the music scene a blaze in 1989, becoming an anthem for unity in America and around the world. The first single released off this project was “LOVE YOU BACK,” a feel good reggae/pop record with a visual that will capture the attention of many and awaken the hearts of lovers across the globe.
For over 25 years, Reid has influenced the world of reggae, dance
hall and hip hop opening doors for those to come. From the Kingston
community of Waterhouse, Reid emerged as a bona fide talent in the 1980s
with
songs like "Human Nature" (produced by Junior Reid), "A1
Lover" (produced by Sugar Minnott), and the evergreen "Foreign Mind",
an uplifting and proud statement which became an anthem to the ghetto
youth whom Reid increasingly championed. In hip hop he has worked with
greats such as SNOOP DOG, BUSTA RHYMES, LIL WAYNE, FABOLOUS, SWIZZ
BEATS,
ALICIA KEYS, DJ KHALED, THE GAME just to name a few and has collaborations with said artists on his most recent mixtape
